Orioles Weight Room Renovation Completed within a month before the start of the season, the Orioles’ weight room was transformed to create a more modern look and feel. The project team began by demolishing and raising the ceiling and replacing the floor of the training space. New lights and flooring were installed, in addition to an electronic charging station, A/V equipment, a sink, a beverage cooler, a dishwasher, and additional storage space. Mechanical, electrical and plumbing units were refreshed to create an “open ceiling”. Lastly, two new offices for the training staff were added.

Merritt Clubs Canton Expansion Completed in May 2018 by Merritt Construction Services, this $20 million dollar, eight-story addition includes a rooftop deck with two pools, a bar and a restaurant, 20,000 square feet of new workout space, a ground-level, six-lane indoor pool, and six floors of parking for 300 new spaces. The first-floor expansion also features an indoor/outdoor turf area and an expanded children’s area.

Located on the first floor off of the workout space is a new café and lounge, LM Fresh. Upstairs, the 25,000-square- foot rooftop deck offers 360° views of Baltimore, two pools, one for adults and one for children, and lounge chairs and cabanas. Additionally, LM Poolside, the rooftop restaurant and bar, offers a wide selection of lunch and dinner options.
