Action Steps • All electrical wiring and equipment must comply with the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, and numerous state and local safety and engineering standards. • Schedule location assessments to identify electrical hazards that develop duringnormal operations. • Correct all electrical hazards as soon as possible. • Determine which employees need to be trained on electrical safety. • Reference to the Lockout /Tagout training section when training employees on Electrical Safety. • Use employee training document in appendix to record training • Review the effectiveness and make changes where and when necessary.
